Registration of Establishment under Delhi Shops

And Establishment Act, 1954 made easy

• The Government of NCT of Delhi has simplified procedure for registration of shops & establishments Under the Delhi Shops and Establishment Act, 1954.
• Every establishment that is required to get registered Under this Act can apply for registration by submitting e-form over internet or with the assistance of any Jeevan Centers located in NCT of Delhi. NO REGISTRATION FEE IS PAYABLE FOR THE REGISTRATION. The acknowledgement slip is the Registration Certificate. Therefore, the slip may be preserved as a proof of registration of the establishment.
• Any citizen who wishes to ascertain registration related status of any establishment working in NCT of Delhi may log on to labour Department Website www.labour.delhigovt.nic.in
• Jeevan centers will charge Rs.20/- as transaction fee related to service provided by them. The transaction fee charged by Jeevan Center is not to be considered as registration fee payable to government of NCT of Delhi.
• Failure to get an establishment registered Under the Delhi Shops and Establishment Act, 1954 attracts penal provisions of law.
• Previous Registration Under the Delhi Shops & Establishment Act,1954 are no longer valid.

Owner of all shops including Godowns, commercial Establishments( including placement agencies providing domestic servants), Residential Hotels, Restaurants, Eating Homes, Theatres or other Place of public Amusement or entertainment require Registration.
